With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Retta J. Bowditch of Portage, Michigan, born in Butler, Indiana, who passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert B. Miller and Ethel B. Miller (Harris); her husband Martin Bowditch; her son-in-law Michael O'Donnell; her stepdaughter Rebecca Williams; and her siblings, Robert, Joe, Doyle, Charles Miller, Bernadine Miller and Joyce Gump.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Bowditch (Kristen Rose) of Vicksburg, Michigan and Joan O'Donnell (James Cox) of Lawton, Michigan; her grandchildren, John, Jessica, Jennifer Christopher, Andrew, Ethan, Jason, Kristina, Charlotte and Lilian; her great grandchildren, Lennyx and Lilah; and her siblings, Alger Miller (Charlotte) of Butler and Redith Goebel of Edgerton.
The family requests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
