She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence E. Syckle and Rozella M. Syckle (Wood); her son Jerry Dale II; and her siblings, Donald, Clarence, Earl and Ruth Syckle.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Schearer; her daughters, Angela Dodson (Tim) and Mary Beth Schearer; her grandchildren, Trista Ziegler (Emerson) and Tyanna Dodson; and her sister Helen Syckle Rabbage.
