It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome J. Klingele of Portage, Michigan, born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Klingele and Genevieve Klingele (Schmitt); his wife Dorothy Ann Shanahan; and his brothers, Kenneth, Roger and George.
He is survived by: his brother Maurice Klingele (Carol); his nieces and nephews, Kathy Keller (Mark), Tom, Jane Ely (Randy), Molly Iammarino (Dominic), Steven, Barbara Johnston (Greg) and Joe; and his grandchildren, Erin (Aaron), Andy (Meredith), Chris (Valerie), Anne Marie (Scott), Laura (Rob), Mary (Drew), Lindsay (Phil), Kate (Nick), Allison (Tim), Sara (Sam), Megan, Margaret, Hailey, Matthew and Ella. He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren.
