He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Stoughton and Helen Stoughton (Jacobs); his wife Margie Foster (Merrill); his children, Nancy Owens and Dale Stoughton; and his siblings, Harold Stoughton, Maurice "Morris" Stoughton, Louis Stoughton and Mariyon Watkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert and Danny Stoughton; and his stepchildren, Mark Foster and Tina. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
