David O. Leach Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David O. Leach of Portage, Michigan, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Frances Leach and Warren Clare Leach; his sisters, Kathleen Chapman (Wendall) and Mary Brigden (Charles); his uncle Roland Harris (Myra); and his nephews, Ron Dennis (Rosie) and Larry Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Leona M. Lindsay; his daughters, Julianne Mathiak (Rick), Merrilee Waltman (Craig) and Heidi Case (Scott); his grandchildren, Stephanie Collins (Charles), Brittany Gosline (John), Nick Case (Aubrie), Russell Mathiak (Haley), Allena Waltman (Adryan) and Emily Case; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah Collins, Gabriel Case, Noah, Liam Gosline, Evelyn Mathiak, Akira and Alec'Zander Waltman; his nieces, Robin Knitt, Terri MacFawn (Mark), Mary Christine Galloway (Greg) and Katherine Smallwood (Kevin); and his nephew Terry Dennis. He is also survived by his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
