He was predeceased by: his former wife Dianne; his parents, Arthur and Lilyan; his son Christopher Macfarlane; and his sister Joan Macfarlane.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Macfarlane; his son Michael Macfarlane; his siblings, Clyde Macfarlane (Sharon) and Linda Lambert (Stephen); and his stepchildren, Laurie Boyd (David), Terri Purchase (Claude), Deborah Easlick (Mark) and Curt Stoeber (Karen). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
