He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dortman and Joann Dortman; and his siblings, Sue, Billy and Rick.
He is survived by: his children, Mellisa Brown (Henry), Steven Dortman and Billiejo Dortman (James Jemison); his stepdaughter Angel Nutt; and his sisters, Jean and Peggy. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
