It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colette M Witherspoon of Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Edwin H. Fenton and Kathryn M. Fenton. She is survived by: her sister Sue Ann Robert; her children, Kimberly Shonk (Paul), Jeanne Witherspoon (Bruce Mumford) and Russell Witherspoon (Julie); her grandchildren, Thomas John "TJ" Witherspoon (Ally), Chelsea Gilpin (Isaac), Jonathan Pearl of Kathryn Claire, Shonk, Samantha Pearl and Dana Witherspoon; and her great grandchildren, Vera Witherspoon, Arly Witherspoon and Silvia Gilpin.
Colette's family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Dive Team Auxiliary diveteamauxiliary.org or the Port Huron Power Squadron, which promotes safe boating in the Blue Water Area.
