He was predeceased by: his father Lester Lemon. He is survived by: his mother Darlene Lemon (Schlafley); his son Richard Goorhouse Jr. (Sammie) of Newaygo; his grandson Richard "Trip" E. Goorhouse, III; and his siblings, Linda McEntee (Don) of Gurnee, Joanne DeWeesse of Pierson, Debra Ritsema of Newaygo and Robert Goorhouse of Newaygo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
