She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret A. DeRuyter and Marcus F. DeRuyter; and her sister Camille. She is survived by: her sisters, Carol Belgrad (Richard) of Bozeman, MT., Linda Moehlman (Terry) of St. Simons Island and Margery Smith (Joe) of Kalamazoo, MI.. She is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Spectrum Hospice will be appreciated.
