We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2020, at the age of 70, Joseph Distel of Pewamo, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Catherine Distel, Sr. (McGuire); his brothers, Robert Distel, Jr., James Distel and Stephen Distel; and his sister-in-law Linda Distel.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Distel (McCormick); his children, Ryan Distel, Lynn Distel and Daniel Distel; his granddaughters, Isabelle and Ginger Hellman; his siblings, Frank Distel (Sandy), Tom Distel (Kathy) and Jane West (Don); and his mothers-in-law, Charlotte Distel, Linda Atwood, Diane McCormick, Sue McCormick and Mary Thelen (Al). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
