He is survived by: his spouse Anita Schafer; his children, Doug Walter (Mary Jane) of St. Johns, Lisa Davarn (Tom) of Pewamo and Mary Jo Wirth (Bruce) of Fowler; his grandchildren, Jennifer Jones (Marco), Kim Walter Matthew (Bill Grady), David Walter (Amanda), Catherine Schneider (Casey), Jessica Jutila (Adam), Bethany Fedewa (Jamison), Dustin Wirth and Tori Wirth; his great grandchildren, Jordyn Jones, Myles Jones, Cooper Walter, Lincoln Walter, Greysen Schneider, Addisyn Schneider and Carley Fedewa; his stepchildren, Gail Pifer (Jim) of Shepherd, Doug Randolph (Eva) of Shepherd, Jan Randolph, Terri Smith (Mike) of DeWitt and Kelly Moeggenborg (Kent) of Rockford; his sister-in-law Jean Walter of Pewamo; and his sister Ellen Silvernail (Frank) of Jackson.
