He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fournier and Ruth Fournier (Hermanson); his daughter Ireena Marie Fournier; and his siblings, Marie Pingatore, Loretta Madrid, Buck, Merlin and Raleigh Fournier.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Rae Metkiff; his children, Patti Therrien (Steve) of Sault Ste, Marc Fournier II (Pamela) of Sault Ste, Bruce Fournier (Cathy) of Sault Ste and Mike Fournier (Kelly Jo Payment) of Sault Ste; his grandchildren, RaeLyn, Marc III, Amalia, Jenna, Stephanie, Gavin, Shannon, Alicia and Natasha; his great grandchildren, Jayce, Hunter, Faythe, Jasper, Addison, Matilyn, Hailey, Troy and Serenity; and his sister Blanche Kivinen of North Carolina.
