She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Doherty; her parents, Elizabeth Schulz Sarna and John Henry Schulz; her brothers, Carl Schulz (Jeanette) of Petoskey and Tom Sarna (Charlene) of Winchester; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Brennan (Joe) of Kentwood and Jerry Doherty (Wanda) of Cadillac.
She is survived by: her nephew Craig; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren, Meghan of Georgia, Jim and Chris Leismer (family: Thomas, Mary Louise Doherty, Kim Homminga); and also Patty Sarna.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Petoskey United Methodist Church or to the Petoskey Friendship Center.
