She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Brown and Ruby Brown (Hull); her pets, Penny, Bailey and Rainy; her children, Vicky O'Neil (Joe) of Petoskey, Randy Fannin (Peggy) of Standish and Doug Fannin (Michele) of Petoskey; her grandchildren, Chris Bester (Becky), Stacey Forbes (Jack), Jeff Fannin (Danielle), Michael Fannin, Jennifer Fannin, Bob Morales, Lyndsey Rogers (Mark) and Benjamin Fannin (Laurel); her niece Terri Long (Kevin); her friends, Joan Kahgee and Fran Foster; her husband John Fannin; and her siblings, Ron Brown and Betty Hahn. She was also cherished by 17 great-grandchildren.
