He was predeceased by: his father Ed; his son Mark Belfy; and his stepmother Elaine Belfy (Lockwood). He is survived by: his wife Shary; his son Robert "Bob" Belfy; his sisters, Carol Wojan (Ken) and Jeanne Belfy (Mike Samball); his nephews, Jim and Terry Galmore; and his niece Patti Zucco (Jesse).
