He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jean Steward, James Vanderver and Lonnie Vanderver. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Dawn Solt (Richard), Todd Vanderver, Craig Vanderver (Cheri), T. J. Sanchez (Lisa) and Mark Sanchez; his grandchildren, Richard, Brittany, Ryan and Vanessa; and his siblings, Patricia Czarnecki, Kathy Munson, Grace Manney, Lacy Vanderver, Pamela Belknap and Sophia Scorzelli.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marvin's honor may be made to the Lake Orion United Methodist Church Kitchen Fund.
