He was predeceased by: his fathers, Lloyd Purdy and Richard Willett; and his stepson Donald Ward III. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Lloyd Purdy (Ricki), Mark Purdy (Ame) and Lisa Purdy; his grandchildren, Austin, Jacob, Kayden, Nathaniel and Caleb; and his siblings, Larry Purdy (Cheryl), Lolita Amann (Willie) and Marcia Hamlett.
