She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Scott MacDonald; her children, Scott MacDonald (Sarah), Kirstie Almy (Andy), Alexander Almy, Nora and Emily MacDonald; and her brothers, Alfred and James Gardella.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
