He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Reed and Leora Reed (Demerly). He is survived by: his wife Dianna Reed (Stanton); and his children, Stacey Reed, Melissa Reed, Daniel Reed, James Poor Jr., Teresa Bisalski, Karla Scott (Jason) and Gary Drexler (Karen). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; along with several nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.
