He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kowalski and Alma Kowalski (Timmreck); and his brother Wayne Kowalski. He is survived by: his wife Donna Hall; his children, Robert John Kowalski (Wendy McDaniel) of Brighton, MI., Nikki McCord of East Tawas, MI. and Jennifer Kowalski (Tom Donaghy) of Whittemore, MI.; his grandchildren, Kirsten Pines (Logan), Matthew Kowalski, Megan Kowalski, Emily Whiteford, Logan DeMarest and Brady Donaghy; and his brother Donald Kowalski (Shirley).
