She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Brittani Nicole Carter; her stepmother Faye Puehler-Lemons; and her stepson Scott Ferguson. She is survived by: her spouses, Jerry Richard and Dave; her daughter Dawn Carter-Buchhop (Mike) of Napoleon; her stepdaughters, Sandra Tietsort (Gary) of Waldron and Cherie Norton (Dean) of Hendersonville; her grandchildren, Brock Carter (Nicole) and Chase Carter (Shelly Nelson); her stepgrandchildren, Justin Buchhop (Taylor Leatherman), Stephanie Jones (Josh), Nathan Buchhop, Bert Fellows (Kim), Dawn Fellows (Todd), Drew Ferguson, Curtis Turner (Emilee) and Courtney Barnwell (Derrek); her siblings, Gary Dickman (June), Rodney Dickman (Peg) and Dale Dickman (Mary Lee); and her brother-in-law Joe Richard.
