Schmidt of Osseo, Michigan, born in Samaria, Michigan, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Schmidt and Helen Schmidt (Heckel); his wife Dorothy LaPointe; and his daughters, Tamara and Sandra Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Gloria Dunlap (Jim) of Osseo, Patti Weber (Nick) of Osseo, Ken Schmidt (Deb) of Osseo and Don Schmidt (Linda) of Leo, Indiana; and his brother LaVern Schmidt (Linda) of Genoa, Ohio.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
