He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Jay and Inez May Burns (Sanford); his wife Mary Burns (Dathel); and his children, Cheryl Palmer, Cathy Mason (Mark), Ryan Burns (Susan) and Tom Burns (Stacey). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
