He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Shinn and Dora Shinn (Gassbeek); and his siblings, Clarence Shinn Jr. and Betty Hull. He is survived by: his former wife Kathleen E. Moeggenberg; his wife Kathy Shinn; his children, Richard Shinn (Christina) of Mission, Texas, Dawn Sanborn (Gary) of Hubbardston and Sherry Weber (Dave) of Ithaca; his grandchildren, Christina, Amanda Shinn, Brett, Jeff, Denielle Sanborn, Mallory Zalud (Jon), Trevor Williams (Maddy), Matt Weber and Kristi Culp; his great grandchildren, Millie, Raelynn, Ryan, Leland, Marik, Aili, Kloee and Jake; and his siblings, Barbara Wagner of Lansing and Robert Shinn of Ovid. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
