She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gerl and Rosa Gerl; her siblings-in-law, Rosa and Jean Cancade; her former husband Laurent Cancade; her siblings, Maryann Gerl, Theresa Roach and Terry Gerl; and her siblings-in-law, Debbie Gerl and Jim Redfern.

She is survived by: her close friend Chris Gaynor of Onaway, MI; her son Jamie Cancade (Tanya) of Parkersburg, WV; her grandchildren, Tyler, Emily, Cooper and Tanner; her son Jason Cancade (Angie) of Ray, ND; her grandchildren, Tenlee (Lane Veach), Maelee and Brinlee; her daughter Danielle Cancade (Nick Daley) of Radville, SK; her grandchildren, Skylar (Brody Scott), Zoe (Jaxon Christopherson) and Laken; her brother-in-law Albert Roach (Valeta); and her siblings, Allan Gerl (Geri), Reinhold Gerl, Shelley Redfern, Angie Roberts (Ray), Alvin Gerl (Anita), Gary Gerl and Kevin Gerl. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
