He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Burgess and Ethel Burgess (Pierce); his wife Jan; and his brother Craig. He is survived by: his son Raymond (Nicole) of Onaway; his grandchildren, Hunter and Dayton; and his brothers, Ken Burgess (Annette) of Onaway and John Burgess (Carol) of Grand Ledge.

We became good friends and I have always enjoyed spending time with him. My husband and I will truly miss him. I just spoke to him a few months ago and I knew he was having health issues.
