He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrejs and Marija; his siblings, Anna, Gunars and Janis; his son David; his grandson Tyler; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur Buskirk and Muriel Kalnins.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his sister Biruta; his children, Mary Ann, Lori and Kevin; the mother of his children Janice; and his stepchildren, Stephanie and Andrew. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
