She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Emerson and Beulah Emerson (Thornton); her husband William Shilling; and her brothers, LaWayne Emerson and Jerrold Emerson.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Flynn (James) of Marshall, Brenda Thomas (Ted) of Marshall, Richard Shilling (Debra Farmer) of Olivet and Danny Shilling (Berniece) of Olivet; and her siblings, Shirley Moore of Wyoming and Lee Emerson (Joanie) of Olivet. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
