It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby J. Waters of Okemos, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Frandsen and Mildred Frandsen; and her brother Lynn Frandsen (Edward). She is survived by: her significant other Edward; her daughters, Janell Liles and Jillayne Nelson (Tim); her grandsons, Nicholas (Laura) and Brett (Natalie); her stepgranddaughters, Suzanne Hinman (Andy) and Katherine Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Oliver, Tanner Liles, Lucas and Annabelle Hinman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
