She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kirby of Washington and Frankie M. Kirby; her husband Dennis K. O'Dell; and her children, Kathleen, Gary O'Dell and Jeff O'Dell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Tindall (Doug) of Cassapolis and Patricia Prout (John) of Okemos; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Tindall (Rachel), Gabrielle McCumons (Scott), Faith Pratt (Gregg), Blake Hummel (Helen), Denae Tomaszewski (Logan) and AJ Hummel. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and two sisters.
