He is survived by: his parents, George Jr. Vanderwest and Wilma Vanderwest; his siblings, Stephen Snider (Kathy), Laurel Scarbrough (Larry), Denise Boxer (David), Dawn Vanderwest, George Vanderwest, David Vanderwest and Karen Vanderwest; and his cousin Tony Blais. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and Nephews.
