She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis Rycenga and Betty Rycenga; her husband Ron; her daughters, Lori Houskamp (Mike) of Spring Lake and Sara Richer (Ross) of Westport, Connecticut; her grandchildren, Christa, Jenna Houskamp, Noah, Arielle and Claire Richer; her siblings, Sharon Pell (Rod), Barb Van Heukelum (Bruce) and John Rycenga (Marie); her parents-in-law, Mary Erickson (Carl), Don Retsema (Betsy) and Ken Retsema; her granddaughter Katelyn Houskamp; and her sister Carol Folkert. She was also cherished by extended family and friends.
Visitation with the family following mask and social distancing protocols will be on Friday, September 18 from 6-8PM at Ferrysburg Community Church (17785 Mohawk Dr., Spring Lake, MI 49456); and one-hour prior to the service, at Second Christian Reformed Church.
