We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2024, at the age of 76, Kathleen Cecile Whalen of Northville, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. and Shirley. She is survived by: her husband John Whalen; her sister Carole Smith (Roger); her children, Kristen Goran (Jim), Catherine Anne Whalen and Thomas Andrew Whalen (Kelly); and her grandchildren, Elyse Schenk (Alex), Hailey Goran (Jake), Aaron Whalen and Jack Whalen. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to any of the following: Hospice of Michigan, Midwest Small Breed Rescue, Horses Haven.
