She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Godlewski and Genevieve Godlewski; her brothers, Gerald Goddard and Thomas Godlewski; her friend Marge Wisner; her children, David Kocenda (Marybeth) and Christine Connell (Loren); her friend Rosemary Szymofelnik; her pet Sophia; her grandchildren, Courtney Kocenda (Mitchell Callahan), Joseph Kocenda, Abigail Connell and Madison Connell; her great grandchild Brodie Callahan; her aunt Theresa; her uncles, Clarence Mowbray and Chester Godlewski; and her brother Ernest Godlewski. She was also cherished by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Diane has requested that donations be made in her name to the Troy Youth Assistance Program (TYA, 4420 Livernois Rd., Troy, MI 48098 or at Troy Youth Assistance) to help continue to better the lives of students that meant so much to her.
