He is survived by: his wife Karen Potter; his children, Kelly Rae Potter of Lansing, Bethanny Leah Reyes (Michail) of Lansing and Isaac Potter of Saginaw; his grandchildren, Mykah, Emmanuel, Leonardo, Angelo, Angeleah and Carlos; his brothers, Paul (Caryn) of Chandler, Arizona and Patrick (Maria Soledad) of Washington, D. C.; and his stepsons, Michael Ream (Emily) of Fort Wayne and Andrew Ream of Greenfield, Indiana..
