He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Chandler and Fay Chandler; his former wife Vicki Young; his spouse Beverly Wood; his daughter Penelope; and his siblings, Constance and David.

He is survived by: his daughters, Deana Zischerk of Bloomfield Hills and Jacquelyn "Jackie"; his grandchildren, Thomas, Tricia Zischerk, Scott Krampien, Whitney and Nic Peters; his great grandchildren, Brynn and Harper; and also Mason Reffey.
