He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Horton and Dorothy C. Horton (Patton); his siblings, Carol Blair and Jackie Horton; his granddaughter Aspyn VanWinkle; his sons-in-law, Jeff Kuhn and Chris Lott; his brothers-in-law, Lyle and Earl; and his nephew-in-law Kevin Mead.
He is survived by: his wife Faith Horton of Niles; his children, Christopher Horton (Missy), Christina Lott, Dorothy Horton-O'Brien (Adam), Andrea Cole (Shawn), Dustin Horton (Jessica), Daniel Horton, Ryan Herman Horton (Heather), Charity Kuhn, Ashley Wieberg (James), Hailey Horton and Alyssa Horton; his siblings, Gail Kimbler, Tony Horton (Gail), Stanley Horton, Allen Horton (Mary Lou) and Tonya Dayhuff; his brothers-in-law, Don Mead (Jean), Robert Mead (Peggy), Bill Mead and Thomas Mead; and his sons-in-law, Jeremiah Dail and Daryl O'Brien. He is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
