He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Whitman and Dorothy Whitman (Marks); and his sister Jean Whitman. He is survived by: his wife Irene McNeil; his children, Stacey Cameron (Jason) of Newberry, Jason Whitman of Newberry, Stephen Whitman of Oscoda and Corey Whitman of Newberry; his grandchildren, Drake, Aly, Devan, David, Taylar, Autumn and Levi; and his siblings, Cindy Margheim of California, Janice Endsley (Eric) of Newberry, Theresa Mitchell (Scott) of Munising, Roy Whitman of Newberry, Ray Whitman (Monica) of Standish and Joanie Whitman of Newberry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
