He was predeceased by: his father Robert G. Powell; his grandparents, Roy C. Nelson and Frances M. Thompson; and his brother Roy N. Powell. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristina Erickson (Doug) of Vancouver, Katherine Warren (Lee) of Newberry, Karen Powell of Sault Ste, Marie and Karol Cardoni (Kevin) of West Ishpeming; his grandchildren, Michael, Robert, Jacquie, Christian, Chloe, Jase, Austin, Mariah, Jackson and Kylie; his mother Ramona MacPhee (Roberts) of Newberry; and his siblings, Rhonda Strong (Kirk) of McMillan, Rebecca Hunt (Dan) of Newberry and Joe MacPhee (Sandy) of Marquette. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
