It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Sheldon Caouette of Newberry, Michigan, born in Sterling, Connecticut, who passed away on September 4, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheldon Caouette and Daisy Caouette (Dawley); his brother Roger Caouette (Joan); and his brother-in-law Chris Nissen. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Byington (Jeff) of Deary, Donna Carlson (Jeff) of Belmont and Jennifer Hutchinson (Moe) of Newberry; his grandchildren, Christopher Hines (Laura), Robert Hines (Emily Lester), Jessica Hines, Erin Weaver (Wesley), Brittany Gengle (Evan Tolan), Ashley Coauette, Cassondra Wilson, Stephanie Hutchinson, Kourtney Hutchinson (Jacob Repking), Joseph Hutchinson, Roland Hutchinson, Sopheya Wisenbaugh and Cassie White; and his sister Carol Nissen of Englewood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
