It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Fred (Newberry, Michigan), who passed away on June 2, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Clifford Sr.; and his brother-in-law Glenn Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Helmer; his grandchildren, Cole Hetrick, Megan Hetrick, Anja Zakrzewski and Eli Zakrzewski; and his sister Barbara Johnson of Marquette. He is also survived by sister-in-law Bonnie French of McMillan; nieces and nephews.
