Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Amos Calvin Wittenmyer of Newberry, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 91, on February 25, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvie Wittenmyer and Alice Wittenmyer (Helberg); his wives, Joyce and Etta; his son Gary; his granddaughter Marion; his siblings, Gracie, Esther, George and Alvin "Bing"; and his stepson-in-law Roger Sevarns.
He is survived by: his children, Henry Wittenmyer (Rachelle) of Boyne City, Wanda Ruby (Calvin) of Newberry, Amos Wittenmyer (Barbara) of Newberry, Joline Hellwege (Jerry) of Calera and Jeannine Burton (Albert) of Newberry; his stepchildren, Robert Babcock (Denise) of Iowa, Mike Babcock (Diana) of Sault Ste, Marie, Bruce Babcock of Maine and Florence Sevarns of McMillan; and his sisters, Sarah Osborn of Findlay, Rosetta McKnight (Dave) of Escanaba and Zadie Groh of Newberry. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing are required in accordance to the State of Michigan DHHS.
