She was predeceased by: her parents, William Heitz and Lorraine Heitz; and her husband Michael Paul Grott August. She is survived by: her children, Erin Nittner (Juergen) of Chesterton, Laurie Grott of Michigan City, Indiana and Andrew Grott of New Buffalo; her grandchildren, Nathan Grott (Leanna) of Buchanan, Brennan Grott of Michigan City, Colin of Chesterton, Indiana, Leah of Chesterton, Indiana, Emily of Chesterton, Indiana, Paige of Chesterton, Indiana and Heidi Nittner of Chesterton, Indiana; and her siblings, Joy Witkins (Jerry) of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin and Ron Heitz (Susan) of Waukesha, Wisconsin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
