He was predeceased by: his parents, DeWayne Rodgers and Louise Rodgers (Barton); his son John A. Rodgers; and his sister Mary Vest. He is survived by: his spouse Patti VanDeraa; his sons, Jacob Rodgers of Union Pier and Clinton Rodgers of Benton Harbor; his daughter-in-law Kelly Townsend (Neal) of Benton Harbor; his stepson Alex VanDeraa of Westfield, Indiana; his siblings, Glen Rodgers of New Carlisle, Mark Rodgers (Theresa) and Beth Rodgers Anderson of Three Oaks; and his grandchildren, Jayna, Alan, Maggie and John.
