He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, Christopher Hammond (Jody), Sherri Dunham (Jay) and Rebecca Fletcher (Kevin); his stepdaughter Laine Weidner (Rich) of Ishpeming; his grandchildren, Kasey, Marcus, Lucas, David, Stephanie, Andrew, Robbie, Janet, Bradley, Kayson, Joseph, Shaylynn, Hunter, Mason, Adelynn and Ruby; his siblings, Michael Hammond, Linda Cole (Bill), Claudia Hoaglin (Bill), Rick Hammond (Eileen) and LouAnn Warren (Don); his brother-in-law Kurt Swanson; and his pets, Sadie, Oona and Murphy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
