He is survived by: his wife Georgia Hainault; his child Linnea Riipi; his grandchildren, Ian Adams, Theo Adams and Quinn Adams; his daughter Sonja Dellies (Calvin); his grandchildren, Austin Riipi, Drew Dellis, Jaylee Dellis, Easton Dellis and Evan Dellis; his child Ryan Riipi (Sherida); his grandchildren, Owen Riipi and Nash Riipi; his brother Matt Riipi (Linda) of Marquette; his niece Erin Riipi (Mary Gallis); his brother-in-law Richard Buzinski; his nephews, Nick Buzinski (Olga) and Gabe Buzinski (Steffanie); his sister-in-law Sharon Gary Lange (Hainault); his nephews, Jessie Lange (Marissa) and Jeremy Lange; his niece Jackie Sayen (Chad); his brother-in-law David Hainault (Denise); his nieces and nephews, Christopher Hainault, Adam Strayer, Lauren Strayer and Dead River (Steve Krook); and his pet Ruby.
