Glenn Binoniemi Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Binoniemi of Negaunee, Michigan, who passed away on March 21, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Binoniemi and Victoria Binoniemi (Joyal); his brothers, Weldon and Matt; and his brothers-in-law, Rodney Granroth and Marvin Luokka.

He is survived by: his former wives, Sandra Pierce and Maureen Olson; his children, Kathy Binoniemi (Craig Williams) of Negaunee, Todd Binoniemi (Annette Syrjala) of Ishpeming, Sherry Ulvila (Erik) of Negaunee, Christy Binoniemi of Minneapolis, MN, Laura Brooks (Kenny) of Marquette, Emily Herbst (Andrew) of St. Louis, MO and Caitlin Dube (Manuel Garcia) of Quito, Ecuador; his grandchildren, Seth Dompierre (Kendra), Sierra Larson (Mikael), Jacklyn Lenten, Grace, Lily, Luke, Jacob Ulvila, Ruby Hands, Harlan Herbst and Eric Syrjala; his great grandchildren, Henry Dompierre, Jazalyn, Daks and Gwen Syrjala; and his sisters, Sara Luokka and Faye Granroth. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many, many good friends.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private family service will be held at Koskey Funeral Home.
