Edna Laurila Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2019, at the age of 95, Edna Laurila (Negaunee, Michigan), born in Ishpeming, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sulo Mannikko and Saima Mannikko; her husband Felix Laurila; and her daughter Laura Artis. She is survived by: her children, Marvin Laurila (Mary) of Republic, Melvin Laurila (Anna) of Georgetown, Kentucky and Linnea (Curt Gillespie) of Westcliffe; and her grandchildren, Vaughn, Ross, Amy, Valerie and Elizabeth. She is also survived by 5 greatgrandchildren and 7 great, greatgrandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the church kitchen fund can be made in her honor.
