It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirlee Murphy (Nashville, Michigan), born in Woodland, Michigan, who passed away on July 2, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her child Wendell Studt; her sister Susan Hinckley; her significant other Victor Rogers of Saddlebag Lake; and also Lake Odessa. She is survived by: her children, Marla Rickloff (Herbert) of Ann Arbor, Kristen Studt of Battle Creek, Gary Studt (Cindy) of Lake Odessa, Dana Studt (Charlie Baker) of Cincinnati, OH and Brenda Jane Studt of Greensboro, NC; her siblings, David Murphy (Rosie) of Nashville and Juanita Ware of Bay City; and her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Amanda, Laura, Kristen, Theresa, Greg, Blake and Elizabeth.
In memory of Shirlee, and in lieu of flowers, she would be tickled pink if you would please go to your favorite bookstore (preferably local, preferably Independent) and buy a book, take it home and enjoy it!
